It seems as though Emilia Clarke might have signed on to replace Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2, which sounds really strange to me. This comes from a recent article in Forbes, and I’m not sure about how reliable this is.
Yes, it’s in a Forbes article, which is a reliable source, however, the article in question is about Emilia Clarke selling her house.
The supposed news that Clarke’s replaced Amber Heard in Aquaman 2 is literally buried in that article.
Also, the author isn’t actually an entertainment journalist.
Keith Flamer is a real estate guy, therefore, he might not be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to what’s going on in the movie industry.
Also, this article was written back in December 2020, therefore why is this just coming out now?
It seems as though some sites have taken the article and just run with it now as if it’s confirmed because it’s in Forbes.
The other thing is that Zack Snyder hired Heard to play Mera in his Justice League cut and also recently featured her in the Justice League trailer. But, what did Forbes actually write about Emilia Clarke replacing Amber Heard in Aquaman 2? Here’s what they wrote:
"She [Emilia Clarke] also signed on to replace Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2."
