1 janv. 1000 - The Century of Woe
Civil war in the Hakalate, warlordism
in Fardā, the emergence of Azrayaqes
and his invasion of Sughâ, the reuniting
of 400 shards of Vašmat, his slaying of
one of the Amirzas, and the undead pouring
into Fardā to devour the living,
make the 13th century the deadliest
in the entire region's history.
Between a third and nearly half of the
populations of Sughâ and Fardā
perish, the death toll worsened by
the disease and famine that follow.

Description:
A dispute over the succession of Kajal Tal-Kâni Razidi, 7th Hakal of the Razidid Hakalate, causes a civil war between the supporters of his uncle, cousin, and son-in-law.
The war outlives all of them, and escalates in destruction until Sughâ and Fardā are both devastated.
The new Hakalate that emerges is weak, only stable because all who could challenged it are dead - for a time.
