Crew: Walter Schirra, Donn Eisele, Walter CunninghamThe Apollo 7 mission was the next manned mission for the Apollo program, following the failed Apollo 1 and the unmanned missions with the continuing goal to get people on the moon. This flight tested the spacecraft's Command and Service Module in low earth orbit.
