1 janv. 1351 - The Black Death devastated Europe, taking the
lives of an estimated 25 million people by
1331, also wiping out half the population of
Paris, which had around 100,000 people. The
disease continued spreading as it arrived in
Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, and
the Low Countries. London suffered the
catastrophic effects of the Black Death between
February and May. The disease continued
moving northward in England.
