11 mars 367000000 av. J.-C. - First tetrapods
Description:
The first known tetrapods based on fossil evidence were Acanthostega which appeared around 367 million years ago. Although it had fully developed limbs with digits, much like the tiktaalik it spent most of its life in water still, although it could make it to land and explore for a short period of time, it was not efficient and could not really walk yet like fully terrestrial tetrapods. Another species that appeared during this time was the Ichthyostega, which was very similar to the Acanthostega. However it had a more fish-like skull, and a pelvic girdle that was stronger and better adapted to land.
