Description:
On December 1st, the Army began operations by clearing out one of the monkey rooms, room H, at the Reston monkey house. News attention was avoided by deceiving the news into believing the monkeys were already dealt with and ordering the Army to wear civilian clothing. Those who worked to clean out the room in the monkey house had to wear air-pressurized spacesuits and enforce extreme care and hygiene. The monkeys were euthanized through lethal injections, and the sickest appearing monkeys were dealt with first.
