oct 7, 1763 - The Royal Proclamation of 1763

Description:

This act created boundaries within the 13 colonies and did not allow settlement outside the boundary. This act made people furious because some settled to the west to the Appalachian Plateau, and were forced to move back to the colonies. One of the reasons that the British enforced this rule is because the Native Americans were acting hostile towards the British, so it was to protect the colonists.
