Description:
A ton of people went to the streets in 1989 when a student demonstration turned into a revolution.It started as a peaceful protest on 17 November which then ended with brutal violence in central Prague when police had to block off escape routes and severely beat people taking part in the demonstration, an avalanche of popular protests, held almost daily in Czech and Slovak cities. It ended in the first no communist government in over 40 years.
