Prague Spring was a period of political liberation and reform
-reformist was elected in Czechoslovakia and started to change the government and regulations
-media rights were loosened along with more freedom of speech and freedom to travel
-the only decision that stayed after this era was to split the country into two seperate things
-the Soviet union and other members of the warsaw pact invaded to halt the reforms
