Description:
Began with a desire for shorter 8 hour workdays. The riot started after a bomb was thrown at police during a labor protest rally near Chicago's Haymarket Square. At least eight people died as a result of the riot. Another 8 strikers were arrested, and 4 executed in connection with the bombing
