The Cuban missile crisis was a 13-day confrontation between the Soviet Union and America. After all of this to result in the Soviet Union removing its missiles from Cuba. America removed their quarantine off of Cuba. This was a huge moment in the Cold War because it was the closest that they have ever been to nuclear war, but they resolved the issue instead.
