Description:
Eisenhower believed that Guatemala's government, headed by Jacobo Arbenz Guzman, was Communist. To respond, the CIA sent An army, to invade Guatemala. Then the army leader Carlos became the dictator of the country.
The US tried to keep everyone from being Communist, but the USSR wanted COmmunist.
