Phoenix Mars Lander Launched
The Phoenix Mars Lander took off on August sixth, 2007. The Lander wasn’t necessarily looking for life on Mars, but organic compounds that could support life either then or later. It would analyze the soil, and the ice under the soil. The scientists in control wanted to find out if the soil and ice on Mars could someday support microbial life.
