Description:
The provisional government was started in March 1917 when the czar government failed. The Duma members led by Kerensky created it. This government system never officially ruled Russia but it was used to a degree. Everything done had to be advised by and agreed upon with the Soviets. The provisional government was only temporary and lasted for about eight months.
