Homer Adolph who was a businessman in Louisianna who only had one African American grandparent but was still considered partially African American. Homer was 1/8th frican American but still was treated the same as if he were a full African American. He once got on a New Orleans train and was told to sit in the segregated area but refused and was arrested.
