jun 6, 1944 - D-Day

Description:

American British forces & Canadian forces landed on five beaches. This invasion was one of the largest military assaults in history. Germany suffered from confusion and thought the attack was a distraction in order to stop Germany from attacking the north of Seine River. They were overwhelmed by effective air attacks, which took out many key bridges and forced the Germans to take long detours.
