apr 18, 1942 - Doolittle Raid
After the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese, American troops wanted to get revenge on the Japanese. While dealing with the crash landing of the Hornet, the US still wanted to get revenge, which was achieved with the Doolittle Raid. The Doolittle Raid was a turning point in WW2 because as the first successful bombing of Japan, it greatly boosted morale for Americans and helped us have edge over the Japanese in the war.
