Description:
On September 3 1939, America with its new technology and industrial might were able to counter the German U-Boats. By the end of 1943, the Allies were able to build more ships than the Germans could sink and were destroying more U-Boats than the Germans could build. While this lasted the entire war, this was a turning point for the Allies because we were finlly able to complete with Germanys U-Boats.
