Toyota finishes first plant and develops the "Just In Time" production method.The "Just In Time" manufacturing style was where the parts were made one day and used the next. For example when building military aircraft the nuts and bolts would be made the day before they were used to put together other parts. This methods required advanced coordination between each step in the production. However, it eliminated part sitting in storage losing value. It became widely popular in the 1970' and 80's.
