Description:
Allies vs. Germany
This was the biggest invasion the world had ever seen, it consisted of 156,000 troops, 11,000 aircraft, 50,000 vehicles, & 5,000 ships.
After the first five days of this fighting, the allies were able to unite all 5 beachheads they were after, thus beginning the march across northern France. Unfortunately, progress was slow, and German defense was able to stop the plan from finishing, causing the war to last a little while longer.
