apr 14, 1865 - Lincoln's Assassination
Description:
President Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's theatre in Washington D.C. Booth supported the Confederacy and did not agree with Lincoln's policies or supported his reelection. Lincoln's assassination was important because if he lived his plan of reconstruction was different than the one that was implemented which would have changed America's history.
