22h 25min, sep 23, 1862 y - U.S.-Dakota War Battle at Wood Lake
Sibley tries to make an agreement with Little Crow but he declines it. In the middle of September, Sibley and his soldiers move up the Minnesota river and camp on the 22nd. In the early morning on the 23rd, the soldiers go looking for food. On there way they find other Dakota soldiers and start to battle. That was the last big battle in the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862, leading to the Dakota’s fall.
