Description:
Henry Sibley sends out a burial party to hunt,locate and bury the remains of the citizens. The party is attacked by the Dakota warriors at birch coulee, one of the hardest battles of the war. The dakota fight the U.S soldiers for 36 hours until a backup group of soldiers arrive from Fort Ridgely.
