1h 35min, jan 1, 1897 y - Thomson's Experiment & Model
Description:
Conducted an experiment with cathode rays, creating magnetic fields around them. This proved that there was a negative charge to atoms because the light was drawn to the positively charged field.
after learning this, Thomson created the "Plum Pudding Model." This model depicted a ppositively charged atom scattered with little negatively charged electrons, like raisins scattered in a plum pudding.
He followed the scientific method.
