Description:
At around 3:00 pm, roughly 100 Dakota start attacking New Ulm. About two hours later, the Dakota withdraw because of the weather conditions. Governor Alexander Ramsay sends Colonel Henry Sibley to retaliate. He summons his troops of mostly inexperienced citizens and goes to battle.
