Description:
The dakota are running low on food and supplies, and to make things worse a crazy white man was hired as a “indian agent”. They wanted them to adapt to the ways of the white.Then, four young men might have been searching for food in a barn on that day and they killed five white settlers. They attack the lower sioux agency and end up killing many white trader’s and government. When the US army was sent over, the dakota killed 24 soldiers. Most dakota chose not to fight and the ones that did were mostly young men.
