0h 14min, jan 16, 1813 y - On January 16th, 1813, fourteen Luddites were sentenced to death due to the attack on
Mr.Cartwright’s Mill at Rawfolds and of burglaries four days before they were hanged at York Castle. It was decided
to hang them in two groups of seven.An anecdote asked Baron Thompson if they were supposed to be hung separately and
he replied with , "Well no, sir, I consider they would hang more comfortably in two."
