(Month and day not known) required eight hours of exposure time. that's why there is sunlight one both sides of the buildings. In France, taken by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, since he wasn't a good artist, he used his knowledge of chemistry. this captured the first photo since it wasn't possible with the camera obscura.
