In 1912, while Lenin was exiled in Switzerland, he appointed Joseph Stalin to be a part of the first Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party. Three years later, in November 1917, the Bolsheviks gained the power in Russia. Stalin had also gotten involved in various crimes and such, including bank heists. The proceeds from the bank heists were used to help fund the Bolshevik Party. He was arrested multiple times between 1902 and 1913, and got arrested, eventually being exiled to Siberia.
