Description:
Martin Luther King was one of the most heard activists during the civil rights movement even though he had fought for the same idea and message that others were also trying to fight for. He is known by his belief in nonviolence and peace which what he was conveying through his journey when he thought it was a way of ending the discrimination towards people of color. Like most leaders throughout the civil rights movement, he had many followers but also had foes and died when he was 39 years old. He was murdered by a white man named James Earl Ray who took Martin away from the world, but Martin is still known as a great leader to many in this generation.
