Description:
Trotsky returns to Russia in May of 1917, and his skills in organization are discovered, and he was made chairman of the Petrograd Soviet. During the revolution, Trotsky was in charge of organizing the Red Guards in what turned out to be a takeover of Petrograd almost free of bloodshed. Trotsky also managed to free Russian of World War I with a treaty. Trotsky was a very successful military commander.
