jan 1, 2020 - Age 20: Breast Self Examinaton
Description:
By the time I am 20 years old, I should be educated on how to complete a breast-self examination in order to have an early premonition on possible symptoms to discover breast cancer. The test is done by using the pads of your fingers, moving around your entire breast in a circular pattern moving from the outside to the center, checking the entire breast and armpit area. Check both breasts each month feeling for any lump, thickening, or hardened knot. Notice any changes and get lumps evaluated by my future healthcare provider. Then, check my breast in front of a mirror looking for any changes in color, swelling, or changes in the nipple. As stated before, this should be done every month.
