Description:
When Yanek was 12, his home town was being turned into a ghetto. The natzis went through everyones homes and took all of their valuables. His family managed to find a pigeon coop on his apartment roof that they could live in to hide from the natzis . People all around them were being taken into trucks to either die or go to a concentration camp.
