Description:
The Cathode Ray Tube Amusement Device back in 1948. A decade later came Dr. William Higinbotham. The affable scientist worked at Long Island's Brookhaven National Laboratory after toiling away on the Manhattan Project. Perhaps because work on The Bomb was so painfully serious, Higinbotham turned to entertainment for both release and solace. He played in a jazz band called the Isotope Stompers.
