Description:
Despite the treaty of Munich, German forces invaded Czechoslovakia. In what Germans call a "BlitzKrieg," or lightning war, the German military quickly moved to occupy all major population centers in the country, crushing all resistance met. The rest of europe, concerned by the possibility of another great war, stood by and watched as Germany ignored yet another treaty. This incident also served as a show f how powerful the German military is, worrying many of their neighbors. Britain and Poland in particular readied for war, with Britain reassuring Poland of their alliance.
