After the Conquering of Portugal, The royals of the Portugal were influenced to travel back to Brazil. The Portuguese government began free trade for Brazilian Merchants and and set set the Prince as the king of Brazil. After his rule as emperor the people of Brazil wanted him out and in result Brazil became a republcin in 1889
