14h 7min, nov 6, 1864 y - Lincoln Re-Elected

Description:

On November 8, 1864 Lincoln was elected to go into his second term of being president. Hoping this time was easier because of the confederacy being gone, there was one person who still went up against him. George B. Mcclellan was nominated for the democracy and got 21 electoral votes. Lincoln won majority of the votes making him once again President. This election was one of the most important because after Lincoln was elected once again the confederacy crashed almost 5 months later.
