mar 6, 1857 - Dred Scott Decision
Description:
The Dred Scott Decision was when a slave owner took one of his slaves to what would be today Minnesota and then Dred Scott said that that in the north he is not a slave so he should be let go. So he sent a letter to Washington D.C. and then they said that Dred Scott was property and that the slave owner could take his property any where he likes.
