Description:
The European Allied Powers saw Germany as the main cause of conflict so they presented the Treaty of Versailles to German leaders. It forced them to concede almost all of their territories and humiliated them especially with the "War Guilt Clause". This forced Germany to accept complete responsibility for initiating World War 1.
