may 30, 1854 - Kansas Nebraska Act
Description:
This allowed Kansas and Nebraska to decide for themselves if they wanted to be a free state or a slave state. This act also repealed the 36/30 line of the Missouri Compromise because both Kansas and Nebraska where above the 36/30 line.
