Description:
The Seneca Falls Convention was one of the first women's issues conferences in the U.S.. Among the crowd was Fredrick Douglass and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. At the conference, the attendees wrote "The Declaration of Sentiments", which purposefully resembled The Declaration of Independence, but The Declaration of Sentiments called for increased women's rights rather than Independence from Britain of course.
