jan 18, 1919 - Paris Peace Conference
Description:
The Paris Peace Conference was a very important time in history. This was the conference where the Allied Powers met, following the end of the First World War, to discuss the terms for freshly the defeated Central Powers. One of the main points from the conference was the blaming of Germany and having them pay for their actions. This accusation helped fuel the fire for the causes of the Second World War. The other main point from the conference was the establishment of the League of Nations, an organization of countries to promote peace throughout the world. These two points were essential to the development of our growth as nations.
