feb 15, 1763 - Proclamation Line
Description:
1763. The land gained by the French and Indian War was reserved for Native Americans. This made colonists upset because they had fought in the war and were also expected to pay the war debts, but were unable to reap any of the rewards from the war. This was one of the first acts implemented by the British that would cause resentment in the colonies.
