Description:
This is important because it helped stop the importation of slaves but the document gave the slaveholders a 20 year warning on the closing of the Ports. The trade and importation of slaves went up because of the closing of the ports. Because of the closing of the ports, there was no more money in the triangle trade making the trade end and ending the Slave Trade.
