Description:
On September 2nd, 1945 the Japanese agreed to unconditional surrender. After two atomic bombs causing so much destruction, and the threat of an invasion by the U.S. and Soviets, Emperor Hirohito ordered the government to surrender.
This is significant, because this finally ended the war in Asia, and the war in whole.
