Description:
This was a surprise Japanese attack on a Hawaiian naval base. They almost obliterated our entire fleet there with the exception of the aircraft carriers which were amazingly not at the base that day. This was what pulled us into the war. We could not idly stand by and let this stand. So we officially pulled ourselves into this, although we were in this long before the attack happened. Hey, the arms trade is a lucrative business.
