Description:
The Cherokee Indians of Georgia are pushed off of their homes by laws passed by the Georgian Legislature. The first law passed gives rights to white gold rush miners to hurt or even kill Cherokee Indians if they spoke against them. The second law made in 1829 did not allow Cherokee Indians the right to mine for Gold. The picture you see here is a map of White County in Georgia, where the Gold rush took place.
