dec 1, 1955 - Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat at the front of the "coloured" section of a bus
to a white passenger, confronting the southern customs of the time, getting her arrested.
This causes a bus boycott by the Montgomery black community,
of which Martin Luther King became president.
