Abraham Lincoln was attending a play
named 'Our American Cousin" At Fords
Theatre in Washington D.C . This was Just a few days after Lees Surrender.
Abraham was soon shot by John Wilkes A pro-secessionist actor.
Outcome: Four co-conspirators (including one woman) were hanged
after being found guilty of plotting to assassinate President Lincoln.
Significance: It was the death of our president Abraham Lincoln.
