jan 1, 1849 - Harriet Tubman's Escape
Description:
Harriet Tubman was an amazing woman. She helped over 300 Slaves cross over to the Northern states so that they can become free people. She made the Underground Railroad that helped her navigate through the tunnels below the Southern land. She was courageous because she knew the punishment if they would ever be caught like lynching, whiplashes or the cutting off of the toes, tongue or ears.
